The HiPEAC conference is the premier European forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for general-purpose, embedded and cyber-physical systems. Areas of focus and integration include safety-critical dependencies, cybersecurity, energy efficiency and machine learning.
The HiPEAC 2025 conference will take place in Barcelona, from January 20th to 22nd. Associated workshops, tutorials, special sessions, several large poster sessions, and an industrial exhibition will run in parallel with the conference.
In this sense, one of the highlighted workshops is “Advancing the compute continuum: intelligent solutions for extreme data and 5G-enabled ecosystems”, organized by the EXTRACT EU project, and which will count with the presence of researcher Eduardo Quiñones, principal investigator of ASCENDER project. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 21st from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
For its part, on Wednesday 22nd ASCENDER project will be shown during the poster session which will take place that day.
Besides, Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) -the center which is developing ASCENDER- will have a stand in the conference, where general information of the project could be find.
