Last Tuesday, October 14th, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), the project’s development center, hosted another work session for the ASCENDER technical team and the project’s R+D partners.
This was the second session organized this year, with the aim of discussing technical advances in technological developments and facing the final stretch of ASCENDER, which ends in December 2025. Throughout the morning, there were several presentations, showing project status updates and the results achieved in recent months.
During the second part of the session, several parallel meetings were held among the various attendees to delve more deeply into specific details. The day concluded with a joint discussion and decision-making process to finalize the final tasks of the project.
Four of the partners were the companies who participated in the workshop, Arup, Fundación Circe, Fundación Tecnológica Advantx (Funditec) and LIS Data Solutions. Representatives of each company were accompanied by different ASCENDER team members, included the principal investigator from the project, Eduardo Quiñones.
The event was very productive for all attendees and allowed the project to move towards its final stretch.
