From 20th to 22nd January, Barcelona held a new edition of the international HiPEAC conference, the premier forum for experts in computer architecture, programming models, compilers and operating systems for general-purpose, embedded and cyber-physical systems.
A large number of workshops, tutorials, special sessions and poster sessions, as well as an industrial exhibition, were held over the 3 days of the forum.
In this framework, the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), the center developing the ASCENDER Project, had a booth where the project’s flyer was available, and the corporative video was also projected.
Furthermore, on Tuesday 21st, the researcher Alba Cañete, from ASCENDER team, presented a poster on the project prepared for the occasion, at the BSC booth; this poster was also displayed during the posters’ exhibition on Wednesday 22nd.
Finally, other members of the ASCENDER technical team participated at the workshop “Advancing the comput continuum: intelligent solutions for extreme data and 5G-enabled ecosystem”, organized by EXTRACT Project.
The ASCENDER Project, of the UNICO I+D Cloud program funded by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration and by the EU – NextGeneration, within the framework of the PRTR and the MRR, highly values participation in this conference.
